Call for consultancy to conduct MMG Project Endline Evaluation ( Deadline: 11/06/2026)
Background:
Ungweru organization is local non governmental organization duly registered and compliant with relevant regulatory bodies. The organization works in the thematic areas of education and youth development, Food and nutrition security, Health and wellbeing, Human rights and good governance as well as Environmental Justice. The organization with funding from Misean Cara through St Patricks Missionary Society has been implementing the improving income food and nutrition security through sustainable Agriculture. The organization is looking to recruit a competent consultant to carry out the evaluation on the project after two years of implementation
The project Improving income food and nutrition security through sustainable Agriculture has been implemented in Tradition Authorities, Chindi and Mabulabo with funding support from Misean Cara. The project aimed to address the challenges of income generation, food security and nutrition within the community. In the Implementation strategy the project started in Mchilawengo Luwerezi EPA 2024-25, then Euthini EPA 2025-26. The project will finally be implemented in Bwengu EPA in 2026-27. Key objectives included improving income, food and nutrition security, improving health through sanitation facilities, and raising awareness about the rights of women and children, particularly those in vulnerable situations.
Objectives of the Endline Evaluation
The objectives of the evaluation are as follows:
• To assess the extent to which the project has contributed to improved income, food, and nutrition security within the community.
• To gauge the effectiveness of the pass-on programme on the nutrition security of the community.
• To evaluate the effectiveness of sanitation facilities in improving community health outcomes.
• To gauge the level of awareness and understanding of the rights of women and children, particularly those in vulnerable circumstances.
