Samuel Lastone Phiri is a visionary leader with over two decades of experience in agriculture, logistics, and management. Born on July 12, 1973, he holds a Diploma in Agriculture and a BSc in Agribusiness Management. His career spans impactful roles in Malawi and South Africa, blending strategic leadership with community development. Committed to sustainable livelihoods, inclusive governance, and social transformation, Samuel drives change through collaborative, people-centered approaches. A lifelong learner and mentor, he inspires progress in both organizational and grassroots initiatives.
Noel Daire Kumwenda
Programs Manager
Mr. Noel Daire Kumwenda, Ungweru’s Programs Manager, holds a degree in Economics from Africa University, Zimbabwe. He brings to Ungweru vast experience working with international organizations in Kenya, Sierra Leone and Malawi, in areas of Project design and implementation, monitoring and evaluation in key thematic areas of Education, Environmental justice, Nutrition and food security, Human
rights and good governance.
