About the Land rights Project
Ungweru organisation is implementing the Protecting women and girls customary Land rights through empowerment, advocacy and capacity building project in Mpherembe. The goal of the project is to enable women and girls participate in discission making regarding productive resources such as land. The specific objectives are as follows
1 to increase participation of women and girls in decission making on productive resources such as land.
2 to increase women and girls access to customary land and other productive resources in the area.
3 to protect the right to land for women and girls from encroachment through agro-ecology and empowerment.
