Ungweru Organisation wishes to inform the general public, partners, stakeholders, and all communities we serve that Mr. Chipililo Chiwaula is currently undergoing an internal disciplinary process following serious allegations relating to financial accountability, unauthorised use of the Organisation’s name, and conduct that is bringing the Organisation into disrepute.
The Organisation has also received information regarding external complaints lodged with the Malawi Police Service concerning allegations that Mr. Chiwaula used the name of Ungweru Organisation in obtaining money from members of the public for activities not authorised by the Organisation. We understand that the matter is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities.
Accordingly, Ungweru Organisation wishes to make it clear that with immediate effect, Mr. Chipililo Chiwaula is not authorised to:
- Represent Ungweru Organisation;
- Conduct transactions on behalf of the Organisation;
- Solicit funds or financial support in the Organisation’s name;
- Enter into agreements or commitments on behalf of the Organisation.
Members of the public are therefore advised to verify any communication, fundraising activity, financial request, or project engagement claiming association with Ungweru Organisation directly through official organisational channels.
