irrigation equipment has been installed at the villages of Palango Mhango and Telu Kamanga. The irrigation equipment which has a capacity of irrigating 3 hectares of land will benefit over 100 farming families in total.

The equipment has been installed by Ungweru organisation with support from CIFA Trust. The communities from the two villages will start producing irrigated crops from May next year. This is done through the project called Climate smart market based solutions for transistioning out of poverty. Through this project communities will be able to produce three times. One produce for food and the other two productions for sale which will increase incomes, food and nutrition security
