Ungweru – Safeguarding Input
On February 23rd, Ungweru Organization held a session on โSafeguarding” which was facilitated by Madam Colleta of the Catholic Diocese of Mzuzu. Because safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults is such an important aspect of the work of the different units in Ungweru, it is necessary to hold such sessions from time to time. This time around all the Ungweru team members were enabled to build their awareness of safeguarding issues and about their responsibility to uphold everyone’s rights.
Katoto Community – Wisdom of Traditions
From February 23rd to 24th, Hagar and Isaac from SELL led a workshop on the “Wisdom of Traditions” unit in Katoto community, Mzuzu.
St. Peter’s Major Seminary, Zomba โ Leadership workshop
On February 27th and 28th, SELL conducted a leadership workshop for seminarians at St. Peter’s Major Seminary in Zomba. Using the SELL Leadership unit, the team focused their efforts on equipping the participants with valuable insights and useful tools to help them to become effective leaders in their future parishes and communities. There was a lot of emphasis on the importance of communication in fostering collaboration, understanding, and purpose within groups.
